ESPON Targeted Analyses
The ESPON EGTC will tender 3 service contracts for Targeted Analyses: 1) Linking networks of protected areas to territorial development (LinkPAs) Lead stakeholder: Abruzzo Region (Italy) Objective of the analysis: This activity shall provide an analysis of the role of networks of protected areas in defining and implementing sustainable territorial strategies and policies. 2) Territorial and urban potentials connected to migration and refugees flows Lead stakeholder: Emilia-Romagna Region, Managing Authority of the Interreg V B Adriatic Ionan Cooperation Programme (Italy) Objective of the analysis: This activity shall contribute to raising knowledge on the territorial impact of migration and refugee flows in the Adriatic-Ionian and Danube macro-regions in order to take these aspects into account in the framework of the EUSAIR and EUSDR strategy and the ETC programmes. 3) BT2050 – Territorial scenarios for the Baltic Sea Region Lead stakeholder: Ministry of Economic Development (Poland) Objective of the analysis: This activity shall produce a trend analysis and territorial scenarios for the Baltic Sea Region (BSR). Key topics to be addressed under various policies related to the BSR’s territorial development should be identified and its role in a larger European and global context outlined.
